Class Descriptions:

 

Vinyasa:

A rigorous and challenging vinyasa flow to kick-start your day. (Some basic knowledge of yoga recommended). This class is not suitable for those with serious injuries or issues.

 

Vinyasa Yoga:

An energetic and inspiring all-levels flow class.

 

Hatha Flow:

Hatha yoga is a system of physical postures and breathwork that focus on balancing the body and mind. Hatha Flow links movement to breath so there is a flow from one posture to the next. Suitable for all levels.

 

SoulFlow:

A gently heated vinyasa class meant to cleanse the body, clear the mind, and soften the heart. For "advanced beginners" through intermediate practitioners.

 

Gentle Hatha Yoga:

Join Annie for a calming, grounding, stress-relieving class to stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body. Asanas, or poses, are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment. Recommended for all levels seeking a soothing, relaxing and restorative experience, especially those newer to yoga or those working with special concerns or injuries.

 

Soft and Slow:

A gentle class great for all levels (suitable for people with physical limitations). Emphasis is on form, breath, and the therapeutic aspects of yoga. Come stretch and strengthen your body, and feed your soul in a safe class that welcomes everyone.

 

Slow Stretch:

Simple, basic, effective stretching for all levels.

 

Hot Yoga:

A set series of postures done in a heated room to facilitate maximum flexibility and detoxification. The poses are mostly static and the class is suitable for all levels. It's a great way to loosen up after a week of workouts -- or work!

 

BAM! (Boxing and Mobility):

Knock out fatigue, weakness, stiffness and balance issues!

Join certified Fitness Boxing and Fit Strike Instructor Patty Williamson and former Golden Gloves boxer Mitchell Proctor for a class that includes non-contact boxing (we use bags and focus mitts), strengthening and stretching. Patty is also a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. This class is for all levels, but is suitable for people with mobility issues such as Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, joint replacements, artificial limbs or any condition that makes movement more challenging. Class is adaptive, meaning it can be done in a chair (provided), wheelchair, or standing.
